The French Government last week moved South Africa from its “Scarlet List” to its “Red List”.
This effectively means that French citizens can now travel to and from South Africa and do not need to quarantine on their return home if they are fully vaccinated.
This news follows the announcements over the holiday season that Germany and the US have also relaxed travel restrictions for South Africa.
In further good news yesterday, the European Union announced that all travel restrictions to and from South Africa would be lifted.
With Omicron on the wane with an average of 7,564 new cases reported per day over the last week, South Africa is very much open for business!
